shysters fundraiser: Revel with The Revelles!
Dee and Kenny Badland invite you to dance the night away on Friday 12th February to the fantastic sounds of The Revelles. The event is a fundraiser for the shysters, and Dee and Kenny are parents of Sarah, one of the company’s actors.
The place is The Parade, Nuneaton, CV11 5TJ, tickets are £5 or free to shysters and shystershadows, and more information can be obtained by contacting us.

otc & the shysters are working with Gecko Programmes Ltd to support the creation of jobs for young people approaching twelve months of unemployment. These jobs focussing on the creative and cultural industries are additional positions. Two-thirds of them must be found for young people in the 18-24 age category who have been unemployed for between 39 and 50 weeks but as Coventry has been considered an unemployment “Hotspot” people over 25 will be eligible for the remainder. We have the following vacancies:

Assistant to the Development Director (Ref No: CFA 33698)

We’re very happy to announce that we have appointed the consultants who will be working with us over the next six months on strategic and organisational development for the company. They are Roger and Emma Courtney of Courtney Consultants.
Coup for Visual Artist Josephine Powers
Josephine’s exhibition Recursion opened last night at the Fishbone Gallery, Longford. Jo is the first person to have taken over the whole of the gallery to display her work. Jo’s sculpture I was Looking at the Earth and then I saw the sky was an integral part of the shysters/shystershadows latest production Shrouds as were other aspects of her work specifically created for the show.
Award winning photographer does it again!
Photographer Rick Medlock, whose work has already met with awards and great acclaim, has just been advised that his photograph of three of the shystershadows is through to the next round of a major international photography competition. Watch this space for further news….
